Asus devices to come with Microsoft Office Apps out of the box
Bloatware? This is something that most users worry about these days! In fact Samsung was forced to reduce the amount of uninstallable bloatware in their implementation of the TouchWiz UI.
However the company has signed an agreement with Microsoft earlier this year, as result of which the Korean giant started installing the Office apps in their flagship smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy Note5, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ etc.
Now it seems like Asus has steeped in the party. In a bid to free itself from the licensing costs of making Android devices, Asus has decided to sign an agreement with Microsoft. According to the agreement in exchange of getting access to Microsoft's patented technologies for Android, Asus will have to install the Office Apps in their devices.

Microsoft had launched the mobile version of their Office apps - Word, Powerpoint and Xcel - in the Playstore at the beginning of the year. With near same feature as in a desktop applications the Office apps gained a fair amount of market traction.
However the higher size of the file package was a deterrent for many to download it on to their phones, especially in India where mobile data packages come at a steep cost. With the apps now coming installed on the Zen lineup of devices, buyer can rest assured on a seamless office experience.
