ASUS Pegasus 5000 with 5.5-inch 1080p Display and 4850mAh battery announced

ASUS Pegasus 5000, the company's latest smartphone in the Pegasus series has gone official in China.The Asus Pegasus 5000 passed the TENAA certification last month.

The Asus Pegasus 5000 has a 5.5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone runs a Android 5.1 Lollipop based Zen UI.

The smartphone has a 1.3 Ghz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor. The smartphone is available in two variants of 2GB and 3GB RAM but both have an internal storage fo 16GB. The internal memory can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD.

The Dual SIM smartphone has connectivity options that include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Asus Pegasus 5000 has a dimension of 155 x 76.4 x 9 mm.It weighs 176 grams. The smartphone is backed by a 4850mAh battery.

The ASUS Pegasus 5000 is available in Blue and Golden colors. The smartphone reportedly costs Rs. 1,299 CNY or about INR 13,400 for the 2GB RAM variant while the 3GB RAM variant costs 1799 CNY or about INR 18,600. The phone is available in China via China Telecom.
