ASUS ROG Phone 7 Design Revealed in Leaked Tenders Ahead of Launch

The global launch of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 series is scheduled for April 13. Ahead of this launch, images and some specifications of it have been leaked online. ASUS will be launching two of its gaming smartphones, the ROG Phone 7 and 7 Pro in its upcoming launch, and possibly others in the series too.

Possible phones in the series are expected to be the basic ROG Phone 7 and a model a notch higher, the ROG Phone 7 Pro. There are rumors doing the rounds about a ROG Phone 7 Ultimate too.

Asus Rog Phone 7: Price and Specifications

The base model Asus ROG Phone 7 will be the bottom of the series of new gaming smartphones by the brand. A tipster has now revealed the possible price of this basic model. The Asus ROG Phone 7 according to tipster Yogesh Brar, will be within the range of ₹70,000 and ₹80,000 in India.

The tipster also revealed that the expected specifications of the phone include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Further, another variation of the model with a 16GB + 512GB storage option will be available as well.

Previously leaked specs of the phone were also highlighted by the tipster. The phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The handset will also boast a peak clock speed of 3.19GH. In addition to this, it will also have the SoC paired with an Adreno 740 GPU.

A curved back, three cameras, and a design similar to its predecessors are other expected features. Leaked designs show the right side to have a volume rocker and a power button.

The ROG Phone 7 is expected to come loaded with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor. The smartphone supporting 8K video recording is another rumored highlight. The selfie camera will offer a resolution of 32MP.

A 6000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging will be part of the phone. Additionally, a big 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate is a potential feature of the phone. The handset will likely also boast an in-display fingerprint scanner.
