The Asus ROG Phone 7 series is set to arrive later today. The line-up is expected to include the Asus ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Asus' latest gaming smartphones are expected to feature similar specifications, although the 'Ultimate' version will feature a few design tweaks and more RAM and storage than the vanilla model.

What Asus has revealed about the ROG Phone 7

While Asus has managed to keep most details surrounding the ROG Phone 7 series under wraps, we can confirm that the chip powering the two phones will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. Moreover, Asus also teased some design aspects of the ROG Phone 7 in a recent tweet.

The teaser confirmed the presences of a triple-camera setup on the back of the ROG Phone 7. Additionally, we also see a dual-cell battery for more optimal fast charging. Lastly, Asus also notes that the ROG Phone 7 will deliver a "truly immersive audio-visual experience". While details surrounding the ROG Phone 7 haven't been confirmed yet, several leaks give us in-depth information about the handset's specifications.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Specs (Expected)

The Asus ROG Phone 7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. The panel is expected to sport a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time.

On the back, the ROG Phone 7 will feature a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor paired with a 13 MP ultrawide shooter and an updated 8 MP macro camera. Moving to the front and we'll likely see a 32 MP selfie camera. The ROG Phone 7 will also pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Asus ROG Phone 7 Price in India (Expected)

The Asus ROG Phone 7 price in India could fall anywhere between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000. Previous reports suggests that the ROG Phone 7 price in Europe will start from €1,049 (Roughly Rs 94,500). The On the other hand, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate price will start from €1,249 (roughly Rs 1,12,500) in Europe. To recall, the Asus ROG Phone 6 price in India started from Rs 71,999.

Asus hasn't confirmed details about the ROG Phone 7 price or specifications. Additionally, the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate will feature the same specifications as the vanilla model. As of now, it is also unclear if the ROG Phone 7 release date in India will be similar to the global launch.
