Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series Pro Price in India Announced: Entering the Ultra-Premium Segment

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series was unveiled in India and globally earlier this week. The line-up included the Asus ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. However, the only differences between the two devices are their RAM and storage configurations, colors, and rear panel design.

However, the tech giant didn't reveal pricing of the ROG Phone 8 series in India, until now. And now that those prices are out, it is about to blow your mind as the ROG Phone 8 and Phone 8 Pro debut as two of the most expensive smartphones in the ROG Phone series.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series Pricing in India

The Asus ROG Phone 8 price in India is set at Rs 94,999 for the sole 16GB/512GB model. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro price in India is set at Rs 1,19,999 for the 24GB/1TB configuration. The Asus ROG Phone 8 comes in Rebel Grey and Phantom Black, while the ROG Phone 8 Pro arrives in a single Phantom Black shade.

Asus includes a free Aero Active Cooler X (Rs 5,999) with the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series will be available for purchase through Vijay Sales, Asus E-shop, Asus Exclusive Store, and Asus ROG Store. There is no official purchase date but stay tuned.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series Specifications

The Asus ROG Phone 8 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Moreover, the ROG Phone 8 Pro comes with 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The ROG Phone 8 series runs Android 14 out of the box with the latest version of ROG UI on top.

The ROG Phone 8 series sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED display by Samsung. The panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. The ROG Phone 8 series packs a 5,500 mAh battery with 65W wired fast charging support and 15W Qi wireless charging support.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS support. The main camera is paired with a 13 MP ultrawide lens and a 32 MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and OIS support. Both models feature a 32-megapixel RGBW front camera for crisp selfies. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro Series is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.

To enhance the gaming experience, Asus introduces the "AI Grabber" feature, streamlining the process of searching for gaming walkthroughs by recognizing and copying in-game text. The ROG Phone 8 sports a customizable Aura RGB lighting logo on the back, while the Pro variant features unique "AniMe Vision" mini-LED lighting with 341 LEDs.
