ASUS ROG Phone 9 Price Leaked Ahead of Launch: Could Rival iPhone 16 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL in Terms of Pricing

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Series is expected to make its global debut next week, on November 19. The ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro will debut as the first smartphones to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite chips globally.

While ASUS has already teased key details about the design of its upcoming ROG smartphones, most of its specifications have already been leaked online. However, new information has surfaced about the ROG Phone 9's pricing in Europe and it safe to say that it isn't going to be cheap.

ASUS ROG Phone 9 Price: What to Expect?

The ComputerSalg online store in Denmark recently listed the ASUS ROG Phone 9 on its website, revealing its price. According to the site, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 price in Denmark will start from DKK 9,838, which translates to roughly INR 1,17,650 or €1,320.

To recall, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 made its debut in Europe in January with a starting price of €1,099. This suggests a major price hike for the ASUS ROG Phone 9 line-up, considering the ROG Phone 9 Pro will cost more.

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 series price in India is expected to start from under Rs 1,00,000. The ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro price in India is currently set at Rs 93,999 on Vijay Sales. It is worth noting that the Danish online store has since removed its listing, suggesting the report could be accurate.

ASUS ROG Phone 9 Series: What we know so far!

Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the ROG Phone 9 series is also expected to feature a ground-breaking new 185Hz LTPO OLED display. It will come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The ROG Phone 9 series will also feature improved cooling and will run on Android 15-based ROG UI.

The ROG Phone 9 series boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor featuring Gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide lens (120° FOV), and a 5MP macro lens. The Pro model adds a 32MP telephoto lens for enhanced zoom. Both models include a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. It could also opt for a massive battery with wired fast charging support.
