Asus ROG Phone 9, ROG Phone 9 Pro Full Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch: Here’s What to Expect!

The Asus ROG Phone 9 series is all set to make its debut next month. The line-up will include the Asus ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro. While details about the two devices are still under wraps.

However, 91mobiles recently published a report revealing the full specifications of the Asus ROG Phone 9 series. The report also details the differences in the two phones' designs.

Asus ROG Phone 9 Specifications

The Asus ROG Phone 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset will run Android 15-based ROG UI with Asus's Game Genie software that aims to elevate your mobile gaming experience. The phone is expected to pack a 5,800 mAh battery with 65W wired fast charging support.

The Asus ROG Phone 9 is also expected to sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display by Samsung with a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. The screen is said to feature an adaptive refresh rate between 1Hz - 120Hz, going up to 165Hz through upscaling in the system settings and 185Hz in the Game Genine. The display supports HDR10+ and features an in-display fingerprint reader.

For optics, the ROG Phone 9 features a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and Gimbal OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens with a 120° FOV, and a 5MP macro shooter. Additionally, the ROG Phone 9 will opt for a 32MP selfie camera. The report also notes that the ROG Phone 9 will pack dual stereo speakers with Spatial Sound, Hi-Res Audio, and Dirac Virtuo. The ROG Phone 9 is also expected to come with several AI-powered gaming features.

Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro Specifications

The Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro is expected to share most of the specifications with the vanilla ROG Phone 9, including the same Snapdragon chip, Samsung display, 5,800 mAh battery, and 65W fast charging support. The ROG Phone 9 Pro will also use the same software with similar software features.

The camera system on both phones is also touted to be the same, although the 'Pro' model is expected to feature a 32MP telephoto shooter, according to the report. Additionally, the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro could come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Moreover, the AeroActive Cooler X Pro is also expected to come in the box.

Asus ROG Phone 9 Series Launch Date

The Asus ROG Phone 9 series launch date in India is set for November 19, 2024. The event will take place 12 noon Berlin, 07:00 pm Taipei, 06:00 am New York, and 04:30 pm IST. The Asus ROG Phone 9 event will be streamed live on the company's official YouTube channel.
