The next-gen Asus ROG Phone 9 series comprising the ROG Phone 9 and the ROG Phone 9 Pro appeared online (spotted via Android Headlines) with the model number ASUSAI2501C. The publication further reveals these smartphones will be arriving in Q1 2025.

Asus ROG Phone 9 Series: What to Expect?

The Asus ROG Phone 9 series is expected to come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will be announced at the Snapdragon Summit in October 2024. The chip will have Qualcomm's custom Oryon CPU, offering improved NPU performance.

It also reportedly ran the game Genshin Impact smoothly for 45 minutes at 1080p resolution, maintaining a 60fps frame rate. Not only Asus but other smartphone OEMs are also expected to bring their flagships with the upcoming processor.
