Asus to Launch Zenfone 3 Smartphone in India on August 17

    With Asus having countless Zenfone in its kitty, the company has scheduled a launch event in India on August 17th to unveil its latest iteration -- Zenfone 3.

    Ahead of the launch, Asus has sent out the press invites for its "Z3nvolution" event. Supposedly, the successor of Zenfone 2, the range of variants including Standard Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra, and Zenfone 3 Deluxe has launched in Computex event 2016 a couple of months ago.

    Further, the company has added Zenfone 3 Laser and Max later at a special event in Vietnam. Moreover, this is not the only smartphone launching on August 17th. On the same day, Asus's Chinese counterpart Huawei is launching their new flagship smartphone -- P9 in India with the dual camera set up.

    As per the invite, the company is launching -- Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra, and Zenfone 3 Deluxe in India. Taking about the Zenfone 3 first, this smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full HD Super IPS+ display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU clocked at 2GHz under the hood.

    This smartphone comes equipped with 3GB RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage/4GB RAM with 64GB inbuilt storage. Moreover, there is an option to expand the storage also via MicroSD card slot.

    The Asus Zenfone 3 is shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on Zen UI 3.0 on top. Talking about the optics, this smartphone has 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, 6P Largan lens, 4 Stop OIS and 8MP front camera with 88-degree wide angle lens. Also, the inside hardware is powered by a 3000mAh battery under the hood.

    Moving on, the Zenfone 3 Ultra is the bigger variant in the tree of Zenfone 3 with 6.8-inch Full HD display. This smartphone is powered by a famous Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 as GPU.

    A variant of Zenfone 3 comes in three variants in terms of ROM --32GB/64GB/128GB and two in terms of RAM -- 3GB/4GB.

    The special USP of this device is the camera sporting a 23MP on the rear with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, Laser AF and 8MP front camera on board.

    Further, the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra is powered by a 4600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

    And the Deluxe edition of the smartphone comes packed with high-end specifications, 5.7-inch display, Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 processor with 6GB RAM.

    On the storage front, this smartphone comes in three variants -- 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB of inbuilt memory with expansion option as well.
