Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 144Hz Display: Check Price, Specifications

Asus has officially unveiled its first flagship Zenfone smartphone with a triple rear camera setup since 2021. The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra breaks from tradition, ditching the compact form factor of past flagships, instead, opting for the 'big phone' design, reminiscent of the Galaxy S24 Plus and iPhone 15 Plus.

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is a full-blown flagship with all the makings of a premium smartphone, including the most powerful Snapdragon 8 series mobile chipset, a vibrant LTPO AMOLED display, and several AI advancements. Moreover, the footprint of the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is similar to that of the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Specifications

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The handset sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. Moreover, the panel boasts an adaptive 144Hz refresh rate (1Hz - 120Hz) and HDR10+ support.

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra also packs a 5,500 mAh battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless fast charging support. Unfortunately, Asus isn't shipping the Zenfone 11 Ultra with an adapter in the box. Asus's latest flagship smartphone also packs dual stereo speakers fine-tuned by DIRAC Audio. Moreover, the phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Cameras

In terms of cameras, the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra opts for a triple-rear camera setup with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor at the helm. The main camera supports 6-Axis Hyrid Gimbal Stabilization and 2x optical zoom. It is paired with a 13 MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV and a 32 MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom and OIS support.

Up front, the Zenfone 11 Ultra features a 32 MP RGBW sensor for selfies. The rear camera system can capture 8K video at 24fps or 4K video up to 60fps, while the front camera is limited to 1080p video recording at 30fps. The camera system also features OZO Audio for clear audio recording, AI Object Sense recognition, and 10x ultra-clear zoom.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Software, Features

Asus' latest flagship runs Android 14 and comes with several AI features - AI Noise Cancellation, AI Call Translator, AI Transcript, and AI Wallpaper. The Zenfone 11 Ultra also delivers the ultimate PC continuity experience with Asus GlideX. Connectivity options on the Zenfone 11 Ultra include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, 5G, NavIC, and more.

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra is offered in Eternal Black, Misty Grey, Skyline Blue, and Desert Sand color options. Moreover, the phone also features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Zenfone 11 Ultra also employs Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the screen.

Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra Pricing, Availability

The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra price in the US is set at $999 (roughly Rs 82,800) for the base 12GB/256GB model. However, customers who pre-order the handset will get it at a discounted price of $899.

In the UK, the 16GB/512GB version of the Zenfone 11 Ultra costs £949.99 (roughly Rs 1,00,500), with Asus offering a pre-order discount of £80. As of now, Asus is yet to announce details about the Zenfone 11 Ultra's availability in India, although an Indian launch doesn't seem to be on the cards.
