Asus ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Max appear in leaks

Yesterday, tipster Roland Quandt revealed the specs and renders of the Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro. Now, he is back again with new leaks about two more smartphones from the ZenFone series.

We will start with the Asus ZenFone 4. The WinFuture website claims that the smartphone will come with a come on the market in two variants, which will differ mainly by the processor used. As we know, the already used model packs an Octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor. There is also 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space. The other version will feature a Snapdragon 660 processor running at the speed up to 2.2GHz.

It is not known if the Snapdragon 660 variant will have more RAM capacity and native storage space. The basic version of the Asus ZenFone 4 sports a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display with the resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, as claimed by the official Asus store for France. The handset has capacitive buttons at the front, which can be used as the fingerprint scanner as well.

The 12+8 MP rear dual camera setup is said to come with a 120-degree wide angle lens and a "5-times light sensitivity". Likewise, the phone features an 8MP selfie camera at the front sans an LED flash.

The other goodies on the Asus ZenFone 4 include a 3,300mAh battery, Gigabit WLAN with dual-band support, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2 etc. The handset is 7.7 millimeters thick and weighs 165 grams. There will probably be two color variants; Black and White. As for the pricing, the smartphone will be sold for Rs. 499.99 Euros.

Talking about the Asus ZenFone 4 Max, it will come with a smaller 5.2-inch version, but the rest of the features will stay the same. The display will be an IPS HD one with the pixel resolution of 1280×720. The smartphone will also feature a physical Home button that will function as a fingerprint reader.

For innards, it will make use of a Quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The chipset is said to be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of default storage space. It will also flaunt a rear dual camera setup comprising of one 13MP and another 5MP sensor. There should be a wide-angle lens as well. Up front, an 8MP will be there for selfies and video calls.

The other features of the smaller ZenFone 4 Max include three card slots, two for SIM and one for the memory card. It is said to offer N-WLAN, Bluetooth 4.1 as well as LTE according to Cat.4 with up to 150 MBit / s. Backing the device up will be a large 4,100mAh battery. It will be available in the colors Black, Gold and Pink and with an official price recommendation of 229 Euros.
