Asus ZenFone 5 live image leaked; looks identical to iPhone X
Asus is expected to unveil the ZenFone 5 series at the upcoming MWC.
With just a week left for MWC 2018, anticipation for the event is higher than ever. Among other manufacturer, Taiwanese giant Asus is expected to launch a new series of smartphones at MWC. Dubbed as ZenFone 5, the lineup is likely to include several models. From what we have been hearing so far, the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite will debut at MWC.

Ahead of the launch, the Asus ZenFone 5 has been leaked online. The leak comes in the form of a live photo of the smartphone. Guess what, it appears to feature an iPhone X-like notch at the top. Further, the alleged ZenFone 5 sports an identical design as Apple's latest flagship. It has the same edge-to-edge display with a notch to house the selfie camera and the earpiece.
The display of the phone will probably feature an aspect ratio of 18:9. Since the image doesn't show any physical button at the front, the ZenFone 5 is likely to come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. There is also a slight chance that the device will feature an under-screen fingerprint reader.
What's interesting is that, reliable tipster Roland Quandt had also recently claimed that the Asus ZenFone 5 would include a notch at its upper bezel. When it comes to specifications, previous rumors suggest the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, paired with at least 3GB of RAM.
The handset is further tipped to arrive with dual-SIM functionality, a large 4,000mAh unit battery and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, with the brand's ZenUI skin on top.
Talking about the ZenFone 5 Lite, the smartphone will also reportedly feature an 18:9 display with FHD+ resolution. Most significantly, the smartphone is said to be equipped with quad cameras; dual cameras at both the front and rear.

Rumors have it, the ZenFone 5 Lite's front dual camera setup will be comprised of two 20MP sensors, while the setup at the back will include two 16MP sensors.
