Boltt Teases First Smartphone Launch in India: Flipkart Availability Confirmed
Fire-Boltt is officially entering India's smartphone market under its new Boltt brand. After confirming its plans to launch smartphones earlier this year, the company has now announced the debut date of its first handset. Ahead of the launch, a dedicated Flipkart microsite has revealed the smartphone's design and teased a clean software experience focused on smooth everyday performance.
The upcoming device is expected to mark the beginning of Boltt's smartphone portfolio, with more affordable 4G and 5G models likely to follow.

Boltt Smartphone India Launch Timeline
According to the Flipkart microsite, the first Boltt smartphone will launch in India on August 25 at 12 PM IST. While the company has yet to reveal the official name of the device, it has confirmed that the handset will deliver a clean, bloatware-free software experience aimed at offering smooth day-to-day usage with minimal distractions.
The teaser also provides the first official look at the smartphone. It features a flat-frame design with a centrally positioned hole-punch display. The right edge houses the power button and volume rocker, while the front appears to have slim bezels on three sides and a slightly thicker bottom chin. The showcased model is finished in a brown colour.
Fire-Boltt has not announced the smartphone's pricing yet. However, earlier reports suggest the company could focus on the sub-Rs. 20,000 segment, where it would compete with brands such as Lava, HMD, Samsung, OnePlus, Oppo, and Vivo.
The company has also confirmed that its smartphone lineup will include both the Boltt Evo and Boltt Ace series, covering 4G and 5G models. All upcoming Boltt smartphones will be manufactured in India.
Boltt Smartphone Expected Specifications, Features
Previous reports suggest the first smartphone could launch as the Boltt Evo 4G. The device was recently spotted on Geekbench, revealing some of its key hardware details.
According to the benchmark listing, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and Android 16. The tested prototype scored 440 points in the single-core test and 1,470 points in the multi-core benchmark.
The Unisoc T7250 is an entry-level 12nm processor featuring two performance cores clocked at 1.82GHz alongside six efficiency cores running at 1.61GHz. The same chipset is also found in smartphones such as the Realme P4x, Oppo A6c, Poco C81 Pro, and Itel Zeno 200.
With its first smartphone launch, Fire-Boltt is set to expand beyond wearables and smart accessories into India's highly competitive smartphone market.
