BSNL 's new prepaid offer gives unlimited data and voice calls for 84 days at Rs. 1,099
As compared to other packs from private telecom operators, BSNL's offer is better as there is no daily or monthly restrictions on data usage.
After the arrival of Reliance Jio in the Indian market, telecom operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea have started offering more data at less price to the customers. Every time, Jio introduces a new plan, we see other telcos coming up with similar offers as well. Likewise, state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new 'KOOL' offer for its prepaid customers.
Under this offer, BSNL prepaid subscribers are entitled to get unlimited voice calls including home and roaming, 100 SMSes daily, and access to Personalized Ring Back Tone (PRBT) for 84 days at just Rs. 1,099. This means, customers will be provided all these benefits at just Rs. 13 per day. The 'KOOL' offer is applicable to all regions across India.
What's more, customers will also get unlimited data until the validity date. As compared to other packs from private telecom operators, BSNL's offer is better as there is no daily or monthly restrictions on data usage. On the flip side, unlike its competitors, BSNL doesn't offer 4G speeds in most regions. The company has launched 4G services only in Kerala circle.
"We are committed to provide affordable and efficient services to our esteemed customers. BSNL introduced KOOL offer for Rs. 1,099 suitable for all segment of society and empowers family & friend to be in touch," said R.K. Mittal, Director, BSNL Board while commenting on the new 'KOOL' offer.
Meanwhile, the telco has announced extension to its free Sunday calling facility for its landline customers. The offer was previously supposed to be drawn from February 1, 2018, but it will now continue till April 30, 2018. The offer allows the BSNL's landline users to make free calls to any other phone or operator on Sundays between 10.30PM to 6.30AM.
BSNL had first introduced this offer back in August 2016. While the state-owned operator wanted to cancel the free Sunday calls, it decided to continue with the offer after considering popular demand from all corners of the country.
The unlimited broadband plans from BSNL start at Rs. 499, but not all these plans come with bundled free voice calls. It is only limited to some plans like the BB249 and a few other combo plans.
