CAT introduces the S41 and S31 rugged smartphones

CAT has introduced S41 and S31 rugged smartphones retailing for Euro 449 (approx. Rs. 34258) and Euro 329 (approx. Rs. 25102) respectively. The smartphones are waterproof and sport big batteries.

    CAT is launching two new abuse proof smartphones in the mid-high price segment. CAT has come up with two new smartphones viz. S31 and S41 that can bear a substantial amount of physical stress. The smartphones are built by Bullitt Mobile, the UK based electronics manufacturer that also came up with Kodak Ektra. Bullitt Group has been designing CAT smartphones for Caterpillat Inc. for quite some time now.

    CAT introduces the S41 and S31 rugged smartphones

    The CAT S41 is the successor to the S40. The smartphone boasts an Octa-core processor from MediaTek and operates at 2.3GHz. The Soc is coupled with 3GB of RAM and the device has an internal storage capacity of 32GB. It houses a 13MP rear camera and a 5,000 mAh battery that allows this device to charge other smartphones as well. It has a 5-inch full HD display which is protected beneath Gorilla Glass 5.

    The S31, on the other hand, is the successor to the S30 smartphone from CAT and houses a quad-core Snapdragon processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The device features an 8MP rear camera and boasts a 4.7-inch display.

    Both the smartphones are waterproof to up to 2 meters in water. CAT S41 has already been released for Euro 449 (approx. Rs. 34258). While the S31 will retail for Euro 329 (approx. Rs. 25102) when it is released in a few months.

    The company is also launching its first tablet, the CAT T20, which runs Windows 10 supports LTE and sports an 8-inch display. It has 64GB of inbuilt storage, 2GB of RAM and Intel Atom Z8350 quad-core processor. The T20 will retail for Euro 649 (approx. Rs. 49517).
