Cheaper and Smaller iPhone 6c leaked via 3D renders, Dummy photos

A smaller sized iPhone with a 'c' moniker is long due and it seems that dummy units of the alleged device are already out even before the official launch of the same. Off late a number of reports have emerged regarding the specifications of the upcoming smaller and cheaper iPhone dubbed the iPhone 6c/7c, however none were as conclusive as this.

The leaked images of the dummy unit which was first reported by 9to5Mac shows the alleged iPhone 7c to sport a similar front panel to the iPhone 5s. However the back resembles that of the iPhone 6/6s with a protruding rear camera and visible antenna stripes. It goes without saying that the rear panel is made out of glossy plastic unlike the metal one found in the iPhone 6/6s.

Apart from the dummy units 3D renders of the upcoming Apple device has leaked which too hints at the same design language. The renders further shows the iPhone 6c in six different colours including a Rose Gold, Gold and Gray variants which are not generally seen in the devices with 'c' moniker.

In yet another report by KGI, the Apple iPhone 6c/7c is expected to launch within the first half of 2016 with an A9 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, TouchID and NFC (for Apple Pay). It worth mentioning that a previous report had revealed that the Cupertino giant is developing the iPhone 7c with a modestly small 4 inch display upfront.
