CoolPad Note 3 Smartphone Launched At Rs. 8,999: A Worthy Competitor to Take on Meizu M2

China-based handset maker CoolPad made its entry in to the Indian market with its low-end device Dazen brand of devices. Shedding its 'Dazen' brand, today, the not-so famous CoolPad has launched its Note 3 phablet in the market under the mid-range segment.

Initially, this device was launched as QIKU in the Chinese market, where it has fingerprint sensor on the back, which can be unlocked under 0.5 seconds, says the company.

Moving on to the specifications, Coolpad Note 3, sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is clocked at 1.3GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU clubbed with 3GB RAM under the hood.

Moving to the storage, this device is employed with 16GB of inbuilt memory, with an expansion option of up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Running on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 on top of Cool UI 6.0, the Note 3 flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, 5MP front-facing camera, 1.4 micron pixels and also equips a fingerprint sensor at the back.

Moreover, this smartphone measures 9.3mm thickness and weighs around 155grams. And the connectivity options includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery under the hood.

The Coolpad Note 3 comes in White color at a price of Rs. 8,999 and it will be available exclusively on the e-retail store, Amazon.in through flash sale starting from October 20th at 2PM. The registration window for the sale has already started on Amazon.

Making its entry into the market, the Coolpad Note 3 will be competing against the likes of Sony Xperia E4, Meizu M2 Note, Yu Yureka Plus, Lenovo K3 Note, Samsung Galaxy Grand Max and others.
