Detel launches new feature phone at Rs 399

The India-based brand Detel has announced the launch its new feature phone D1+, specially designed for the visually impaired, senior citizens and kids at just Rs 399.

With the introduction of 'Talking feature', the Detel D1+ will be exclusively available at B2BAdda.com, from 26th January 2018, midnight.

"We are glad to bring to our customers a feature phone that is not only economical & affordable but also caters to a lot more needs of the feature phone buyers in India. India is a price sensitive market and the consumers especially in tier- 2, 3 markets, and in rural areas are cautious about their spending behavior," said Yogesh Bhatia, MD, SG Corporate Mobility (parent company of Detel).

While urban population is increasingly growing tech-savvy, consumers from small towns and rural areas are still only marginally exposed to the technological advancements of the world, he added.

Detel D1+ comes with it offers dual SIM slot, torchlight, GPRS web browser, 3D speaker, microSD card support. Interestingly, the D1+ will be available in seven color variants. The D1+ features 1.44-inch TFT display.

The company says that it aims to target the 40 crore people in India who still remain unconnected not just with the rest of the world but also within themselves. After successfully penetrating into the feature-phone market with the Detel D1 which was launched to bring connectivity to every household, the brand has now worked harder to offer something that further strengthens the value proposition of its products.

To recall the company has also tied up Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
