Exclusive: BRITZO to launch 12 devices on 17th April priced between Rs 700 and Rs 4000
The company is also planning to invest Rs. 100 crore towards the Make in India initiative and aims to secure three percent market share by the end of the financial year 2018-19.
BRITZO Communication, which has recently ventured into the Indian mobile phone market is now all set to launch 12 devices in the country on 17th of this month.
"In phase I, we will be launching ten smart feature phone, one 4G feature phone and one smartphone on 17th April," Pradipto Ganguly - CEO & Co-Founder - BRITZO told GizBot in an exclusive interaction.
Adding more to that he further said: "We have also tied up with operators like Idea and Vodafone so that user can download songs and watch videos free for one year."
He said that the company's smart feature phone is enabled with customized operating software will give access to relevant apps & downloads of more than 15 thousand songs, videos, 180-day replacement warranty and 15-month product warranty.
The smart feature phone will be priced between Rs 700 to Rs 1200, 4G feature phone will cost between Rs 2000 to Rs 3000, and smartphone will be under Rs 4000 and will be packed with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM which is expandable to 128 GB, fingerprint scanner and will have touchscreen and physical keypad like Blackberry.
Meanwhile, the company is also planning to invest Rs. 100 crore towards the Make in India initiative and aims to secure three percent market share by the end of the financial year 2018-19.
"We intend to invest Rs 100 crore in research & development, manpower and we will be setting up our own assembling unit in Greater Noida," Ganguly further told us.
The company aims to become the most preferred brand of real India and our clear focus is to tap the tier-III, and tier IV market and to achieve this goal they will be launching products across 17 states including UP, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, NESA, and Gujarat during the first Phase of its expansion.
The company has also launched the programme called 'iVVO Smart Parivar' under which BRITZO will facilitate a single-point solution for all of its partner distributors, including onboarding, training, and tracking.
On tying up with an e-commerce website, BRITZO is contemplating on partnering with a major online player who has got high-level penetrations in a rural audience.
