Exclusive: Smartron to launch Tphone P via Flipkart under Rs 9000

Smartron, India's first global technology OEM company and premier IoT brand, is all set to launch its new smartphone, Tphone P in the India market. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart and will cost under Rs. 9,000.

" The new smartphone will have 5000mAH battery, metal body along with 32 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB," sources close to the development told GizBot. Sources further added that "The company is expected to launch the new smartphone on January 17."

Apart from this, the company will also likely be bringing new updates and users will have access to a range of intelligent and personalized experiences and services.

Going forward, Smartron is also aiming at partnering with other brands across market segments to design and engineer devices.

Meanwhile, the company has recently announced its Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri as its brand ambassador.

The company has signed a 5-year deal with the golfer as main sponsors for all his tournaments and will support Anirban.

The association will see Anirban working closely with Smartron to represent the brand and its products at a global stage.Smartron had earlier brought Sachin Tendulkar as the brand ambassador and strategic shareholder.

To recall the company has unveiled tronXTM and tronX LifeTM, an intelligent ecosystem that connects a range of devices, sensors, and systems to tronX which is the company's artificial intelligence based engine and to begin with, Smartron announced four verticals that are in the works at their R&D facility and the company seems to have already built in capabilities that integrate into our lives: tronX Personal, tronX Health, tronX Home, and tronX Infra.

tronX Personal' offers personalized entertainment, travel, shopping, financial, health, event, communication and collaboration experiences across devices and contexts.

With 'tronX Health', the system monitors and manages medical history, insurance data and offers intuitive and preventive solutions from a range of partners who are already on board.

Smartron's B2B vertical offering which is an AI-assisted system that covers a range of monitoring and management services like BMS, security, lighting, climate, tracking and connectivity for buildings, retail, warehouses, cold storage, trucking, logistics and more. Currently being run as pilot programs with a number of corporate establishments, tronX Infra will help to increase productivity and security and grow both revenue and profits.
