Samsung Confirms Free Screen Replacement for These Galaxy Flagships Facing Green Line Issue in India

The green line issue has become one of the most common problems troubling Android users in recent years. Many Samsung users have reported display panels developing an unexpected green line, often after software updates or prolonged usage.

To address this, Samsung has been offering free screen replacements for certain affected devices. While the company has not released an official list of eligible models in India, the latest info has confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series is included under this policy in the country.

Free Screen Replacement Policy Details

The latest update comes from a post on X, where user Tarun Vats shared a screenshot of his conversation with Samsung India Support. In the chat, the company confirmed that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra are among the devices eligible for a free display replacement if the screen develops green lines.

Samsung stated that the current policy for affected displays is valid until September 30, 2025, but it will be extended further until December 2025.

While the replacement screen itself will be provided at no cost, customers will still need to pay a labor fee for the service. The company also clarified that this policy only applies to devices purchased within three years from the invoice date and that the handset must not have any physical damage.

So, if you are a user of the Galaxy S23 or S23 Ultra and are facing the green line issue, you can visit your nearest Samsung service center to get it resolved.
