Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and New Z Flip 7 FE Model Spotted in Global Certifications Ahead of Launch
Samsung’s July Unpacked event is shaping up to include more than just premium foldables. Alongside the expected Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, a third device — the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE — now seems all but confirmed, thanks to a growing list of international certifications.
The FE variant, short for “Fan Edition,” suggests Samsung is planning a more affordable entry point into the foldable segment. Recent certifications from NBTC (Thailand), TKDN (Indonesia), BIS (India), MIIT (China), and FCC (USA) have now been followed by an approval from Singapore’s IMDA, indicating a broad international release is on the cards.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE Appear on IMDA
Two model numbers — SM-F766B and SM-F761B — were listed in the IMDA certification database, aligning with previous leaks identifying them as the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, respectively. While the certification does not provide hardware details, it confirms network compliance for the devices in Singapore.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 Rumored Specs
Leaks suggest the regular Z Flip 7 will come with a 6.85-inch OLED foldable display paired with a 4-inch cover screen. The phone could be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy or Exynos 2500, depending on the market.
It may include up to 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary and 12MP ultra-wide sensor, along with a 10MP front-facing camera. The device is likely to include a 4,174mAh battery, with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Flip 7 FE: A More Accessible Foldable?
The Z Flip 7 FE is expected to dial things down slightly with a 6.7-inch foldable OLED panel and a 3.4-inch cover screen. Reports point to an Exynos 2400 processor inside, supported by a 3,900mAh battery with the same 25W and 15W charging capabilities.
Camera hardware may remain identical to the standard model, offering a similar experience at a lower price. Early reports suggest a possible launch price of around $735 (KRW 999,000) in South Korea.
