Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 Appear in New Renders, Featuring Slimmer Designs and Larger Displays
Samsung is inching closer to the launch of its next-generation foldable smartphones—the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
And while the company hasn’t officially confirmed the designs, newly leaked renders shared by Android Headlines offer a comprehensive first look at both devices.

Galaxy Z Fold 7: Thinner, Lighter, and Wider
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will come in Blue Shadow and Jet Black colorways, with more options likely at launch. But it’s the physical changes that are drawing attention. The Fold 7 is expected to measure between 3.9mm and 4.5mm when unfolded, substantially thinner than last year’s model. While the 3.9mm figure may be on the ambitious side, even hitting the upper range would make it one of the slimmest foldables available.

The phone is also rumored to weigh around 215 grams—24 grams lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and potentially even lighter than the OPPO Find N5, which currently holds the title for one of the slimmest and lightest foldables in the market.
The cover screen is expected to grow slightly from 6.3 to 6.5 inches, while the inner display could stretch to 8.2 inches, making it the largest foldable screen seen so far, assuming the specs hold true.
Galaxy Z Flip 7: The Cover Display Grows Up
The Z Flip 7 render shows a full-width cover screen that spans the entire outer shell, taking cues from Motorola’s Razr Ultra. This should provide more room for widgets, notifications, and potentially even full apps, though Samsung hasn’t confirmed whether app support will match what Motorola currently offers.

Under the hood, the Flip 7 is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy—an overclocked variant of the latest chip, with its Prime core reportedly reaching speeds up to 4.47GHz. The device could ship with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
Camera specs are said to remain unchanged: a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide camera. Battery capacity will likely stay near 4,000mAh, meaning any performance gains will come from software and silicon efficiency rather than raw battery expansion.
Launch Timeline
All signs point to a July 9 launch in New York, continuing Samsung’s tradition of unveiling its foldables mid-year. Official invites and confirmations are expected soon. Pre-order incentives and trade-in deals may also follow, as Samsung typically leans on those to drive early adoption.
