Gameloft, a well known video games publisher, and Honor are collaborating to organize an e-sports competition "Modern Combat Versus Honor International Series". Modern Combat Versus offers players a new competitive tournament series in a player's perspective. Honor, which is Huawei's e-brand for digital natives and the e-sports company Electronic Sports League (ESL), are hosting this event together.
This exclusive event will witness teams from various countries including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, and Malaysia. For 3 weeks, players will be able to enter the competition, compete, and qualify for the grand finale where the winner will be given cash prize of €10,000 and the newly launched smartphone Honor View 10 aka Honor V10.
The first qualification rounds for the "Modern Combat Versus Honor International Series" will begin on February 11, 2018. The best teams will be selected depending on their overall ranking and will then meet in Paris for the grand finale in April at the ESL Paris studio.

Display and hardware
The Honor View 10 is fitted with a 5.99-inch display with the resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels and the aspect ratio of 18:9. There are minimal bezels around the display.
Under its hood, the smartphone is fueled by an AI-enabled Kirin 970 processor from Huawei. The chipset is clubbed with 6GB RAM and 128GB default memory capacity that can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The battery capacity of the smartphone is 3750mAh and there is support for fast charging as well. As claimed by the company, the battery can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes.
The Honor View 10 is equipped with a rear dual camera setup comprising of a 16MP primary RGB sensor and a 20MP secondary monochrome sensor. This camera is touted to incorporate an artificial intelligence engine that offers Real-Time Scene. With this technology, the View 10 can identify 13 types of scenes and objects that can automatically adjust the camera settings to render a perfect looking shot.
Likewise, there is a 13MP selfie camera at the front with support for AI. The front camera also features face unlock technology.
Software and connectivity
The Honor View 10 arrives pre-installed with Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei's own EMUI 8.0 UI on top. Connectivity suite of the smartphone offers features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C. Additionally, the smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
