Gionee Launches Elife E8 with 23.7MP Camera, 4K Recording Feature at Rs 34,999

As promised, the China-based handset maker launched Gionee has launched its Elife E8 smartphone in India. Initially, this device was announced in China, back in June and comes with many flagship features including aluminum-magnesium alloy frame, NXP Smart PA audio chip, speakers with DTS support and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Gionee Elife E8 - Key Specifications

The Gionee Elife E8 features a 6-inch WQHD Super AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 490ppi.

It is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek MT6795 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with IMG G620 GPU. The chipset is supported with 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB on a microSD card.

As far as software is concerned, the phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop topped with the company's native Amigo 3.1 UI which bring a number of customizations and features on-board.

The Elife E8 flaunts 23.7MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, 1 / 2.3″ sensor, 6P lenses, OIS, 4K video recording, 8MP front snapper on board.

Other features in the phone include a 3,520mAh battery, and connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, GPS, USB OTG, NFC.

The Gionee Elife E8 will be available in Golden color at a price of Rs. 34,999. It will be available exclusively on the e-retail store Snapdeal from October 12th.
