Gionee Marathon M5 India Launch: Watch Live Streaming Here

Gionee is all set to launch its smartphone, that packs a massive 6,020mAh battery in the India market.

Back in June, the Chinese smartphone maker, announced Marathon M5 along with its latest flagship - Elife E8. Today, Gionee holds a press event in Bangalore to launch the massive battery smartphone in the Indian market.

The Gionee Marathon M5 sports a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is also powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU besides 2GB DDR3 RAM under the hood and is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Amigo UI 3.1 out of the box.

On the storage front, it is equipped with 16GB of built-in memory, with an expansion option of up 32GB via microSD card. In the camera department, the Marathon M5 features a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 5 megapixel front-facing camera with wide angle lens.

Gionee has used tow-cell battery pack, with each rated at 3,010mAh, to give the device a battery power of 6,020mAh.
