Gionee appears to be on a smartphone launching spree. It recently introduced the Gionee M7 and Gionee Steel 2 Plus in its home country.
Now, another Gionee smartphone has been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking site. Labeled as Gionee S11, it is the successor of Gionee S10 that was launched earlier this year. The benchmark appearance hints towards an imminent launch for the device. The GFXBench listing has also shed light on the specs and features of the Gionee S11. Turns out, it has similar features like the M7 and Steel 2 Plus.
The smartphone features a 6-inch FHD+ display with the screen resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels. While it is not specified, the smartphone may have a FullView display with the aspect ratio of 18:9.
Under the hood, the Gionee S11 makes use of a MediaTek MT6763 processor that clocks at 2.3 GHz and is paired with an ARM Mali-G71 GPU. The smartphone is shown to offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. It is unclear whether the storage space can be further expanded or not.
As for software, the S11 is listed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS that would be customized with Amigo proprietary skin from the company.
Talking about the imagery department, the smartphone is equipped with a 16MP rear-facing camera as well as a 5MP selfie camera. The rear camera will also come with autofocus, LED flash, face detection feature, HDR mode etc.
There is no confirmation on whether the smartphone would come with dual rear and front cameras. However, despite being Gionee S11's predecessor, the Gionee S10 flaunts four cameras.
The GFXBench listing has not revealed the battery size and all connectivity features of the smartphone. Hopefully, more information on the Gionee S11 would emerge in the following days.
It is likely that Gionee would launch the smartphone by the end of this year.
