Gionee has finally launched its latest S6 smartphone in the Indian market. This handset was announced back in November 2015, sporting a metal unibody design the Gionee S6 measures at just 4mm at its thinnest point.

The Gionee S6 sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, which is similar to the one seen in the previously launched Elife S5.5. However, Gionee has managed to give the device a comparatively smaller footprint. Under the hood of this primarily metal built device is a 1.3GHz Octa Core MediaTek 6753 SoC coupled with a Mali T720 GPU. The 64 bit enabled mid-range SoC is complimented by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

Furthermore, there is room for memory expansion up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot. However it worth noting that the device comes with a Hybrid SIM Slot (1 Micro SIM + 1 Nano SIM/1 Micro SIM + MicroSD card).

On the back of the Gionee S6 is a 13MP primary camera which further comes equipped with an LED Flash. The rear camera support video recording up to Full HD (1080p). There is also a 5MP front-facing camera for shooting selfies.

The Gionee S6 comes is available in Golden, Silver and Rose Gold color options and is priced at Rs. 19,999, exclusively available on Flipkart.
