Google Assistant Gets Upgraded With New Calendar And Email Features
Google Assistant has offered limited services to users who are signed in with G Suite accounts. Having realized this drawback, Google has started introducing more functions to its Assistant. Currently, the Assistant is getting upgraded with the new Calendar along with new Gmail functions.
These new features will immediately offer the optimal results to the G Suite users, while they operate with a voice command via Assistant. Some of the functions you can perform using voice command are -- asking for the next scheduled meeting, creating or canceling or even rescheduling calendar events. Users can send emails to all attendees of a meeting using the Assistant. By just assessing the command, you can even send emails to specific contacts.
It must be noted that the new features are available as a beta update, and will take some time to reach the G Suite users in its fully tested original form. To seek the beta update, you can apply to use the features. In case you are a domain administrator, you can simply sign up for the Google Assistant Beta Program.
To be liable for the program, you must be a super admin of the G Suite domain. Your participation will be considered for a single domain for each application. And, each domain should comply with the Pre-General Availability Program Addendum ("PAPA"). On the other hand, if you want to have access to the beta update for a work account, you must ask your admin to apply it for your whole working team.
You can use Assistant either for a personal Google account or a work G Suite account. Under any circumstances, the voice command can't be used for more than one account. To seek a question for your other account, you will have to switch between the accounts.
