In previous years, such as with Android 12, there was a 15-day gap between the release of the source code and the Pixel update. This year, the gap could be even wider, with reports suggesting a potential delay of 30 days or more.

The Pixel 9 Series and Android 15

The final stable release of Android 15 was initially expected in September, following earlier expectations of an August launch.
