The latest information comes to light via Android Headlines, which has managed to bring the complete specifications for both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. While the two models share the same processor, they differ in key areas such as display size, storage configurations, battery capacity, and charging speed.
Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL - What to Expect?
The Pixel 10 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro XL will go larger at 6.8 inches. Both panels are LTPO OLED with adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rates and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. For protection, Google will use Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for both the front and back.
Under the hood, both Pro models will be powered by the new Tensor G5 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM. However, the storage options will differ slightly: the Pixel 10 Pro will come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants (though the 1TB option may be limited by color). Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro XL skips the 128GB base model and starts at 256GB, going up to 1TB.
For optics, both phones will include a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP 5x telephoto shooter. The front-facing camera is a 42MP unit. Notably, both the ultrawide and telephoto lenses will support macro photography.
Moreover, the Pixel 10 Pro will house a 4,870mAh battery and a vapour chamber for improved cooling. The Pixel 10 Pro XL, on the other hand, will feature the biggest battery ever in a Pixel at 5,200mAh.
Charging speeds are also getting a bump this year. The Pixel 10 Pro will support 29W wired charging, while the Pro XL offers up to 39W. Both models will also come with 15W wireless charging, now upgraded to the Qi2 standard.
As far as the launch is concerned, the Pixel 10 series is expected to go official on August 20, with sales expected to begin on August 28.
