Google’s Latest Invite Hints Pixel 10 Launch Is Closer Than Expected — All the Details Inside
Google's Pixel timeline appears to be accelerating. After last year's early August debut of the Pixel 9 series, new developments suggest that the Pixel 10 lineup might arrive even sooner, possibly by July 2025.
The hints aren't subtle. Between an exclusive Pixel Superfans event scheduled for June and Google's confirmation that Android 16 will be released before the end of June, all signs point to a shifted launch cycle.

Pixel Superfans Invited to a June 27 Preview
One of the most compelling clues comes from an invite sent to members of the Pixel Superfans program. As reported by Android Authority, Google is hosting a "Pixel Penthouse" event in London on June 27, where 25 selected fans will get hands-on time with "pre-release Pixel devices and features."
While the invitation doesn't name the Pixel 10 outright, there are a few other candidates it could refer to. The Pixel 9a has already launched, and based on the event being billed as this year's "exclusive pre-launch," it's widely assumed this is Google's way of teasing the next-gen Pixel series.
Tensor G5 and Android 16
One of the most significant upgrades this year is the shift to TSMC for the manufacturing of the Tensor G5 chip. This could have major implications for thermals, power efficiency, and overall performance-areas where previous Tensor chips (made by Samsung Foundry) struggled to compete with rivals like Qualcomm's Snapdragon.
In addition, the Tensor G5 is rumored to be paired with a MediaTek T900 modem, which may improve connectivity and battery life, two long-standing concerns among Pixel users.
The timing of this hardware shift lines up well with Android 16's launch. Google has already confirmed that Android 16 will hit stable release by the end of June, which strongly suggests that the Pixel 10 will debut running the new OS out of the box.
Four Pixel 10 Models, More Colors Than Ever
The Pixel 10 lineup is expected to include four devices:
- Pixel 10
- Pixel 10 Pro
- Pixel 10 Pro XL
- Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Internally, Google is reportedly referring to these with the codenames Frankel, Blazer, Mustang, and Rango. Design and color details also appear to be more diverse this year.
According to leaks shared by Mystic Leaks on Telegram, the standard Pixel 10 is said to come in Obsidian, Blue, Iris (a soft purple), and a new yellow shade called Limoncello. In contrast, the Pro and XL models are tipped to launch in more neutral tones like Sterling (grey), Porcelain (white), and Green, alongside Obsidian.
Google is reportedly planning to introduce 40 new color-themed wallpapers, matched to these device finishes for a more personalized setup experience.
Expected Price and Launch Timing
There's still no confirmed launch date, but if the June 27 event is anything more than a fan preview, then a July retail launch feels increasingly likely. That would push Google's release timeline even further forward than last year.
As for pricing, reports suggest that the Pixel 10 Pro XL could start at $1,200 (around ₹1,03,900 in India). The Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are expected to retain pricing similar to the Pixel 9 series, likely falling between ₹70,000 and ₹90,000.
Of course, it's possible that this June event is only an early preview for Superfans, and the main public launch could still happen in August. But based on the past several months of early Android previews and accelerated hardware timelines, the pieces seem to be aligning for a full launch sooner rather than later.
