Google Pixel 10 Series Pricing Leaks: Pixel 10 Pro Fold Could Get $200 Cheaper
According to a new leak from Android Headlines, Google is preparing to launch its Pixel 10 Pro Fold in August 2025-and it might be $200 cheaper than last year's model. The foldable is expected to arrive at $1,600, down from the $1,799 launch price of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
This potential price drop signals a subtle shift in Google's foldable pricing strategy. While $1,600 still places it well above most traditional smartphones, it may help broaden the device's appeal as the category slowly matures.

Google Planning Gradual Price Cuts for Foldables
The leak also points to a longer-term trend. By 2027, the Pixel 12 Pro Fold could launch at $1,500, continuing the steady price reductions. While not enough to push foldables into mass-market territory, the shift suggests that Google is working to make its foldable line more accessible.
Meanwhile, the rest of Google's Pixel roadmap appears to stay consistent. The company will reportedly launch four Pixel devices each August, maintaining the pattern established in 2024.
Budget-friendly Pixel a-series phones will continue to debut every spring, with pricing for models like the Pixel 12a expected to hold steady at $499 through 2028.
Price Hikes for Some Pixel Models
Interestingly, not every model is getting cheaper. The Pixel 10 and 10 Pro XL are both set to receive $100 price increases, starting at $800 and $1,200 respectively. Curiously, the Pixel 10 Pro will retain its current pricing, though no reason was cited in the leak.
