Google Pixel 10 Series Reportedly Teased Early on Play Store Ahead of August Launch: Entire Lineup Revealed
With the Made by Google event scheduled for August 20, anticipation around the Pixel 10 series is ramping up. But it seems Google may have unintentionally jumped the gun. A promotional banner that appeared briefly on the Play Store gave users an early glimpse at the complete Pixel 10 lineup—including some interesting new additions and design changes.
Spotted by Android Authority and corroborated by tech sleuths on social platforms, the banner appears to showcase four Pixel 10 models: the base Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a new Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

What makes this leak more credible—and more eyebrow-raising—is that the banner carried the message “Now Available”, despite the phones not yet being launched. It also revealed a likely post-launch deal: a $50 discount valid until October 13, possibly hinting at when the retail availability window might close.
A Familiar Design, But Heftier Bodies This Year
Alongside the visual leak, new information about the Pixel 10 series' dimensions has also surfaced. According to detailed reports, Google appears to be bucking the trend of ever-slimmer smartphones.
Both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are said to be slightly thicker than their predecessors, measuring 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm, which makes them 0.1mm thicker than the Pixel 9 models. They’re also heavier—204g and 207g respectively, up from 198g and 199g. The added heft might indicate a bigger battery or a change in materials, though that remains speculation for now.
Interestingly, the Pixel 10 Pro XL reportedly retains the same dimensions as the Pixel 9 Pro XL (162.8 x 76.6 x 8.5mm) but weighs 11g more, coming in at 232g.
Pixel 10 Fold: Incremental Tweaks, Familiar Format
Then there’s the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Google’s third-gen attempt at a foldable. Its measurements—155.2 x 150.4 x 5.2mm unfolded, and 155.2 x 76.3 x 10.8mm folded—suggest only slight variations compared to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It's 0.1mm thicker and has some minor width changes depending on the folded state.
Whether these tweaks translate to meaningful differences in durability, usability, or thermal performance is still unclear. But what’s clear is that Google isn't rushing to reinvent its foldable formula just yet.
Color Options: Drab Pros, Bold Base Model
The leaked banner also gave us a sense of the color palette for this generation. Most of the Pro models seem to be sticking to muted tones—possibly branded as Moonstone. In contrast, the standard Pixel 10 is seen in a striking Indigo blue, which is expected to be a standout hue alongside other rumored options like Limoncello.

While Google’s more conservative design approach has its fans, some users have already voiced disappointment online about the lack of visual flair in the higher-end models.
What Else Could Be Coming?
The August 20 event is expected to showcase more than just phones. There are murmurs around a Pixel Watch 4, although renders have yet to leak. Rumors also suggest refreshed Pixel Buds, but details remain scarce.
If history is any indicator, we might also see broader Android ecosystem updates, including software features that tie the Pixel line more deeply into Google's expanding AI vision.
