Google has officially announced the launch date of the Pixel 10a in India and globally. To recall, Google unveiled the Pixel 10a series last August, bringing three smartphones and one foldable into the fray. However, the Pixel 10a will debut as the most affordable phone in the Pixel 10a series.

Rumours suggest Google will again rely on the Tensor G4 processor for the Pixel 10a, matching the Pixel 9a rather than shifting to a Tensor G5 chip, while pairing the SoC with the Titan M2 security chip, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, staying with last generation storage speeds rather than moving to newer standards.

The Pixel 10a is tipped to ship with Android 16 and receive seven years of OS, security and Feature Drop updates, while imaging hardware may include a 48MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, optical image stabilisation, LED flash, a 13MP ultra-wide camera offering a 120-degree field of view and phase detection autofocus, plus a 13MP front camera, both capable of 4K recording at 60fps on the rear and 30fps on the front.

The device is also rumoured to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68-rated resistance to water and dust, stereo speakers, two microphones, 5G SA and NSA support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 6, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, NavIC, USB Type C 3.2, NFC, USB Type-C audio, and a 5100mAh battery with wired fast charging and wireless charging.
