So here is it again. Another auspicious day and another exciting offer for smartphone consumers. We all know about Google's latest flagships Pixel 2 and the larger Pixel 2 XL. But many of you may have been holding back due for purchasing it due to their high price. However, there is some good news for you. The smartphones are now available at slightly reduced prices. In order to celebrate and make this Valentine's Day a bit special for you, Google is now offering some discounts on the new Pixel devices.

Google has announced the 'best buy' offer, and it is going live starting today, February 12 and will be valid till the end of the month. So under this offer, Google Pixel 2 (64GB variant) is available at Rs. 49,999. Google Pixel 2 XL (64GB) is retailing at Rs. 61,999. The devices' original prices are Rs. 51,000 and Rs. 66,000 respectively.

However, the offer currently is for Citibank credit or debit cardholders. So consumers who purchase any of the devices via these cards will be eligible to avail the discount offer. Additional cashback offers are also provided. As such if a consumer wants to purchase the 128GB variants, CitiBank credit, and debit card users will get up to Rs. 8,000 cashback on Pixel 2 and Rs 10,000 cashback on the Pixel 2XL. And no-cost EMI up to 12 months on other select banks is also available.

Google Pixel 2

The Google Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch AMOLED screen with 100,000:1 contrast ratio, 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The display also comes with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top for protection from scratches. The display also comes with a new feature called circular feature.

The smartphone is powered by a 2.35Ghz + 1.9Ghz, 64Bit octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The smartphone offers 64GB of storage. Pixel 2 is backed by a 2700mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL comes with an aluminum build, two storage variants (64GB and 128GB), features three mics (2 front, 1 rear) with noise cancellation. The smartphones also feature single bottom-firing speaker and Adaptive audio amplifier to maximize speaker performance and durability.

The Pixel 2 devices also get an always on display.
