Now Google has launched the Android Oreo, people are eagerly waiting for its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. They will be the first smartphones to feature the latest version of Android.
Google is expected to launch the devices sometime in October. Thanks to the numerous leaks, we already know almost everything about the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Now, a new report by Ars Technica has come up which talks about their design. According to the report, the Google Pixel 2 will have the same design as lat year's Google Pixel. So do not expect a bezel-less display on the Pixel 2.
The Google Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, will come with nearly bezel-less, full-screen design. If this the case, then there will be a major difference between the two phones in terms of design. Previously, it was thought only the display size would vary on these smartphones.
Well, almost all the rumors we have heard so far, suggests both Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will feature bezel-less displays.
Anyway, if this new report turns out to be legit, there might be some reason behind it. To remind you, it was earlier reported that HTC will manufacture the Pixel 2, while the Pixel 2 XL will be made by LG. This could be a possible reason behind the difference in design between these smartphones.
