Google Pixel 2 India launch pegged for November 1, price starts at Rs. 61,000

Google Pixel 2 India release date and price details are out.

    Google launched the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were launched yesterday with a slew of products such as the Google Pixelbook, new Daydream View VR headset, Google Home Mini and Home Max smart speakers.

    Now, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be globally shipped from October 31. In India, the pre-orders of these smartphones will commence on October 26. The Pixel 2 will be priced at Rs. 61,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 70,000 for the 128GB variant. The Pixel 2 XL will be priced at Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 82,000 for the 128GB variant.

    The Pixel 2 will be available from November 1 and the Pixel 2 will be available from November 15. These smartphones will be available via Flipkart and will be available from over 1,000 stores across India.

    The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones come with many highlights. Some of the same include Electronic Video Stabilization, Optical Image Stabilization, Live Photos, AR Stickers, unlimited storage on Google Cloud, and IP67 rating.

    Both the smartphones will have the squeeze interaction technology known as Active Edge that lets users open the USB-C charger, Google Assistant and stereo speakers at the front. The company claims that the device will have the fastest fingerprint sensor in a smartphone. These Pixel 2 smartphones will have Google Lens, which is a new set of visual features.

    Both the Pixel 2 smartphones will have the Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB RAM. There is Always-on display to show the notifications and time, and no headphone jack. These smartphones have always-on microphones to listen to music and show what you are listening to on the display.
