Google Pixel 6 Series Finally Gets March 2023 Security Patch With 5G Support in Tow
Last week, Google Pixel devices received the March 2023 security update, which included a slew of bug fixes. Having the most recent security patch is a boon for Pixel users accustomed to receiving first-rate treatment, but this was not the case for last year's Pixel 6 owners, who were strangely left out of the party.
Fortunately, Google has now released the March security update for Pixel 6 devices, and Pixel 6 owners in India will be happy to know that 5G support has also arrived.
Google Pixel 6 Series Gets 5G Support in India
In India, there is good news for Pixel 6 owners! The Pixel 6 series, which includes the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, has finally received 5G support in the country.

Last week, the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 series received 5G support as part of the March Feature Drop.
Despite the fact that the phones now support 5G in India, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have not been officially released in the country. Only the budget-oriented Pixel 6a made the cut.
After the update has been installed, the phone should automatically begin using 5G, and an indicator for the 5G network should appear in the status bar whenever the user connects to one.
Users can now connect to 5G services on Airtel and Jio; both carriers provide Sub-6 5G. Since the sub-6 GHz spectrum is wider, this version is capable of transmitting more data than 2.4 GHz signals.
Google Pixel 6 Also Gets March 2023 Security Patch
The Google Pixel 6 devices received the March 2023 security patch a week later than their other Pixel siblings. Nonetheless, the latest security patch contains a slew of bug and vulnerability fixes.
Aside from a few new features, the March 2023 security patch includes several performance and stability fixes, as well as fixes for biometrics, Bluetooth, camera, system, and device sensors.
To know about the bug fixes in detail, Google has laid down the March 2023 update in its Pixel Update Bulletin.
