Google Pixel 7a launch date in India confirmed for May 11, will be available through Flipkart

The Google Pixel 7a has been one of the most leaked smartphones in the past couple of months with new information coming in every day. However, the latest information is no leak and comes in the form of an official Google Pixel 7a launch date in India.

The Google Pixel 7a release date in India will take place on May 11. According to Google, the Pixel 7a will be sold exclusively through Flipkart after its launch in the country. This means Indian customers will be able to pre-order the Pixel 7a as early as May 11 through Flipkart.

The official Google Pixel 7a launch announcement also teases aspects of the phone's design. It also shows the Pixel 7a in a light blue colour option with two rear cameras. The Pixel 7a was recently unboxed in the same light blue colour option.

The Google Pixel 7a has also previously leaked in Charcoal Black, Coral (Flashy Orange), and White colour options. While information about the Google Pixel 7a price in India or specifications have not been confirmed yet, several leaks about the device have given us a detailed picture ahead of the launch.

The Pixel 7a will be powered by the Tensor G2 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Pixel 7a will run stock Android 13 out of the box. The Google Pixel 7a is also expected to sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Pixel 7a will use a dual-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Moreover, the primary camera will support OIS. The device will opt for a 10.8 MP selfie camera up front.

The Google Pixel 7a is also expected to pack a 4,400 mAh battery with 20W wired fast charging support. However, no adapter will be offered in the box. Additionally, the Pixel 7a could support wireless charging and feature an IP rating for dust and water resistance.
