Google Pixel 8 Gets a Massive Discount in India: Now Available for Rs 55,999 on Flipkart

The Google Pixel 8 is now available starting at Rs 55,999 in India, which was originally launched at Rs 75,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 82,999 for the 8GB/256GB configuration.

Now, the phone is listed with a starting price of Rs 63,999, while the high-end variant is selling for Rs 73,999 on Flipkart. There is another instant discount of Rs 8,000 on ICICI Bank credit card transactions, which brings the starting price down to Rs 55,999. The Pixel 8 is also available in four distinct colour options namely - Hazel, Mint, Obsidian, and Rose.

In terms of features, the Google Pixel 8 is powered by the Tensor G3 SoC and has a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and up to 120Hz refresh rate. For imaging, there is a dual-camera setup including a 50MP primary Octa-PD sensor with 8x Super-Res digital zoom and a 12MP ultrawide shooter with AF and Macro capabilities.

The Google Pixel 8 also features an 11MP selfie camera and packs a 4,575 mAh battery unit with 27W wired fast charging support and 18W wireless charging support. Though, there's no adapter in the box. On the software front, the handset runs Android 14 out of the box with Google promising to provide seven years of OS and regular security updates for the Pixel 8.

The Pixel 8 has also started receiving the June 2024 Pixel feature update, offering on-device AI Gemini Nano, which is already available in the Google Pixel 8 Pro. Moreover, Flipkart is also offering the same bank discount for the Pixel 8 Pro, which brings the price down to Rs 93,999 for the base 12GB/128GB model. While the high-end 12GB/256GB version of the Pixel 8 Pro can now be purchased for Rs 1,00,999 on the e-commerce platform.
