Google recently announced a new color variant for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The new color is called Mint and arrives as the fourth color option for the Pixel 8 series.

The Google Pixel 8 was initially offered in Rose, Obsidian, and Hazel shades. The Pixel 8 Pro, on the other hand, debuted in Porcelain, Obsidian, and Bay color options. As of now, the Mint color is only available with the Pixel 8 in India.

The Google Pixel 8 price in India is set at Rs 75,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant. Google is also offering the Pixel 8 in India in a new 8GB/256GB configuration that will set you back Rs 82,999.

The Pixel 8 is available for purchase via Flipkart. Moreover, customers who purchase the Pixel 8 using credit and debit cards from select banks can get an instant discount of Rs 12,000. Moreover, Google is also offering a one-year Spotify Premium membership with the Pixel 8.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro price in India is set at Rs 1,06,999 for the sole 12GB/128GB configuration. Additionally, the 12GB/256GB model will set you back Rs 1,13,999.

Customers who purchase the Pixel 8 Pro using credit and debit cards from select banks can get an instant discount of Rs 14,000. Moreover, Google is also offering a one-year Spotify Premium membership with the Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8 Series Specifications

The Google Pixel and Pixel 8 Pro are powered by the Tensor G3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Pixel 8 Pro packs a 5,050 mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging and 23W wireless fast charging support. There's no adapter in the box though. The Pixel 8, on the other hand, opts for a 4,575 mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging support and 18W wireless charging support.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED panel with a peak brightness of 2,400 nits. The screen boasts an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate (1Hz - 120Hz). The vanilla Pixel 8 opts for a smaller 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate that scales between 60Hz - 120Hz.

For optics, the Pixel 8 Pro gets a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50 MP Octa-PD (phase-detect autofocus) with OIS, a new 48 MP Quad-PD ultrawide shooter, and a 48 MP Quad-PD telephoto-periscope lens with 5x optical zoom and 30x Super-Res digital zoom. Up front, the Pixel 8 Pro gets a 10.5 MP selfie camera.

The Pixel 8 uses the same primary camera sensor with OIS but pairs with a 12 MP ultrawide lens. The selfie camera is also the same. The Pixel 8 series runs on Android 14 out of the box.
