According to the renders, the Pixel 8 Pro will get rounded corners, appearing less boxy than its predecessor. Another interesting change is the rear camera bar where all three cameras are housed in an oval-shaped cutout on the island.

In addition, a new sensor is seen underneath the LED flash. While it's unclear what the sensor is, there's some speculation that it could be a LiDAR sensor.

The report states that the Pixel 8 Pro will sport a 6.52-inch flat screen, which is smaller than its predecessor's. The display features a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

The Pixel 8 Pro measures 162.6 x 76.5 x 8.7 mm with a 12 mm thick camera bump. The phone has a USB type-C port and speaker positioned at the bottom. At the side are the volume rockers and the power button.

The Pixel 8 Pro will likely be equipped with the upcoming Google Tensor G3 processor. The chipset is rumored to be based on the yet-unreleased Exynos 2300 processor which is manufactured on Samsung's 3nm process.

The upcoming Pixel 8 Pro is expected to flaunt an improved camera setup, with reports suggesting that this year's flagships will get staggered HDR.

This technology allows the same camera sensor to capture long-exposure and short-exposure shots simultaneously. Both are later stitched to form one image. This improves the quality of photos of subjects in motion, reducing the overall blurriness.
