Google Pixel 9 Series, Including Pixel 9 Pro Fold Launch in India Confirmed via Flipkart Listing

The Google Pixel 9 series is all set to make its debut globally on August 13. While rumours about the Pixel 9 series have been doing the rounds for some time now, no official confirmation of the devices launch in India were revealed, until now.

An official microsite for the Pixel 9 series has popped up on popular Indian e-commerce website Flipkart. Not only does the microsite give us insight into the rear panel design of the Google Pixel 9 Pro, but also confirms that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will launch in India. This will make it Google's first foldable smartphone to arrive in India.

Google Pixel 9 Series Launch in India

Flipkart confirms that the Google Pixel 9 series is launching in India on August 14, 2024. The Made By Google event will take place on August 13 at 10:00am PT or 10:30 pm IST. This suggests the Pixel 9 series will be made available in India immediately after Google's event.

The Google Pixel 9 series will include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, the Flipkart microsite currently only has the Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold listed at the moment but that could change soon.

Google Pixel 9 Series: What to know so far!

The page showcases the Google Pixel 9 Pro in a cream/off white shade, while the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is spotted in a black finish. The Pixel 9 Pro appears to have a triple-camera setup on the back, which is in line with all the rumours. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold appears to ditch the camera bar, instead of a large square-shaped camera island on the top left.
