Google Pixel 9a CAD Renders Surface Online: Could Ditch the Pixel 9 Series’ Visor-Style Camera Module
Google recently released the Pixel 9 series in India and globally, including the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, the search giant will make one more addition to the Pixel 9 series next year.
The Google Pixel 9a is expected to launch in May 2025, although details about the device are still under wraps. However, CAD renders of the Pixel 9a recently surfaced online, showing a big very different rear camera island compared to the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro.

Google Pixel 9a Renders Leak
The renders come courtesy of Android Headlines in association with OnLeaks and shows that a pill-shaped camera island that houses two sensors as opposed to the signature visor on the Pixel 9 Pro XL (review).
Moreover, the renders also how the Pixel 9a features noticeable bezels with flat sides. However, the rest of the phone looks similar to the Pixel 9 (review). Additionally, the LED Flash module also sits outside the camera module on the Pixel 9a.

The Pixel 9a is expected to use the same Tensor G4 chipset as the other phones in the Pixel 9 series. The Pixel 9a will run Android 15 out of the box. The phone could also feature an FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Pixel 9a Expected Price
Most details surrounding the Pixel 9a are scarce, although the phone will likely be priced under Rs 60,000 in India. To recall, the Pixel 8a price in India started from Rs 52,999 for the base 128GB model and Rs 59,999 for the 256GB variant.
It is worth noting that the Google Pixel 8a is currently available at a massive discount of Rs 43,999 on Flipkart, during the Big Billion Days sale. However, the vanilla Pixel 8 is available at a further discount of Rs 38,999 during the sale.
