The Pixel 9a's first sale is scheduled for today (April 16) at 12 PM IST. It can be purchased via Flipkart and Google's retail partners in three colours: Obsidian, Porcelain, and Iris. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 49,999 for the single variant available in India with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Customers can also avail of a limited-period cashback offer of Rs 3,000 and 24 months of no-cost EMI, available with select banking and financing partners, including HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, and Bajaj Finserv.

Pixel 9a: Specifications

The Pixel 9a has a 6.3-inch Actua display, which is claimed to be the brightest display ever on an A-series device, delivering 35% more brightness than the Pixel 8a at 2700 nits. It also supports an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring smooth and responsive visuals.

The device is powered by the Tensor G4 chip and offers advanced AI capabilities from the Pixel 9 series. It features AI-driven functionalities like Circle to Search and Pixel Studio and maintains high-security features such as Car Crash Detection, Theft Detection, and live location sharing via Find My Device. For optics, the Pixel 9a opts for a dual rear camera system including a 48MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide lens. Upfront, it gets a 13MP selfie camera.
