Google Pixel 9a Price and Detailed Features Revealed; Could Be Priced Same as Pixel 8a
The Google Pixel 9a is expected to see light sometime in next year. While the brand has not shared any details about the upcoming Pixel phone, leaks and rumours have already given us an idea of what will be in store.
Now, the latest development has revealed the detailed features and pricing of Google's upcoming mid-range offering, which is likely to include an upgraded processor and a larger battery compared to its predecessor Pixel 8a. Here's all you need to know about the Pixel 9a.

Google Pixel 9a Specifications and Pricing (Expected)
The Google Pixel 9a will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor, the same as the standard Pixel 9. It will likely include the Titan M2 security chip and come with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Upfront, the Pixel 9a is tipped to feature a 6.285-inch Actua display with a peak brightness of 2,700 nits, HDR brightness of 1,800 nits, and the Gorilla Glass 3. For imaging, there will be a 48MP GN8 Quad Dual Pixel primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultra-wide camera. Upfront, it will opt for the same 13MP sensor.
Moreover, the device will pack a 5,100mAh capacity battery with 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging; however, it won't support Qi2. Lastly, the Pixel 9a will feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It is likely to measure 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9mm in dimensions and weigh 185.9 grams, which is lighter compared to the Pixel 8a.
As far as the price is concerned, the Pixel 9a is expected to start around $499 (around Rs 42,353) for the 128GB model and come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony colour options. However, the exact launch timeline is still unknown at this moment. If Google follows the same timeline as the Pixel 8a, it might arrive in May 2025.
