Google Pixel XL 128 GB gets a price cut of Rs. 36,000

Amazon is offering a whopping discount of Rs. 36,000 on the 'Quite Black' variant of Google Pixel XL. Originally priced at Rs. 76,000, the smartphone is now available at just Rs. 39,999.

The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are still considered as one of the most bankable devices, thanks to regular software updates and amazing cameras. The smartphones were launched back in October 2016. Talking about the Pixel XL, the handset comes with a 5.5-inch display with the screen resolution of 1,440×2,560 pixels and the aspect ratio of 16:9. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Under the hood, the Google Pixel XL is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The processor is teamed with the Adreno 530 GPU. As far as the memory aspect is concerned, the smartphone offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable using a microSD card.

On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system right out of the box. It will also be updated with Android 8.0 Oreo. Google Pixel XL packs a 3,450mAh battery to keep the lights on. The battery comes with quick charging support and it can give 7 hours of battery life with a charge of 15 minutes.

In terms of optics, the smartphone is equipped with a 12.3MP rear camera EIS and dual-LED flash. For the selfie camera, Pixel XL makes use of Exmor-R CMOS image sensor.

Other sensors onboard include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer, Compass, Gyroscope. The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner on its back.

The smartphone is offered in three color variants; 'Quite Black', 'Very Silver' and 'Really Blue'.

In related news, the latest Google Pixel 2 was was also available for Rs 39,999 during the 'New Pinch Days' sale on Flipkart in mid-December last year. With the flat discount, and cashback offers and heavy discounts of Rs 10,000 on credit/debit card, the offer lasted only for a few days. Currently, the Google Pixel 2 is listed there at Rs 49,999.
