According to Telus, the "Approx date" for Android 14, internally referred to as "Android Upside Down Cake," is Wednesday, October 4. Notably, this release is expected to extend to a range of Google Pixel devices, including the Pixel 7a, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 6a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, Pixel 5, Pixel 4a (5G), and Pixel 4a. However, it's important to note that the provided dates are approximate and subject to change, as software updates can take a few weeks to roll out to all devices.

A Familiar Approach

The synchronization of Android updates with Pixel device launches is not new for Google. The last instance of this alignment occurred with the release of Android 12 alongside the Pixel 6.
