Google's December 2019 Security Bulletin Might Put Your Android Phones At Risk
Google has recently confirmed that its December 2019 security bulletin might risk some Android smartphones. There are three flaws named by the company and out of these, one is termed as the most dangerous threat to the devices. The detected security threat will be affecting devices running on Android 8.0, Android 8.1, Android 9 and Android 10 OS.

According to Google, the damage in the "handleRun of TextLine.java" might offer an application crash that could permanently block your device from getting fixed. This kind of blockage is often created by dangerously built message. To get an easy and better solution, you must immediately install the December security update as fast as it gets available in its fully tested form.
The third security bulletin termed as "CVE-2019-2232" is considered to be the most severe threat. However, the good news is that the security patch for CVE-2019-2232 along with the other two security risk updates has been released to the Android Open Source Project for fixation of security breaching bugs.
This kind of security issue arises because not all Android smartphones get time to time security updates. Due to which malware get easy access to your phones and corrupt the data. The worst part is users, who are using quite older Android phones, won't at all get the December security patch. Hence, the optimal solution for them is to immediately replace their devices with the new ones.
If we talk about the smartphone brands that will receive the security patch of December 2019, it is Google. As the company has already released its OTA update after the December bulletin was disclosed. The very OTA update will gradually get shipped to other smartphone brands. If at all the update is available, you will get the news as a notification. And, then you can check the latest security patch by going to Settings > About Phone > Android security patch level.
